T -twist

Here are pics of my t-twist, I made the large and it is a bit big, will probably make the medium if I did another. All in all it was relatively easy, the only thing that threw me was the centered double decrease. After I frogged it once at that point I got it straightened out and voila, here she blows!

Wow, its been a while since I wrote on my abandoned blog....guess I have been busy. I have a few pics to post when I get a chance, finished the T-twist in the new knitty issue, I did it with an inexpensive acrylic yarn but think it turned out pretty well. I am working on Orangine now, maybe will be finished by the time I have taken a few pics and can post it too.

My first post

I just luv knitting sooo much! I have been wanting to create a blog in an effort to display the projects I have finished and hopefully as a motivation to finish the ones I have started!
My knitting history so far: I had self taught myself years ago but on the urging of a co-worker went to the local yarnshop and it was love at first sight, I've been knuts for knitting ever since! I took a class at shop and made a few hats and scarves for Christmas presents. Lately I have been trying to tackle sweaters but am finding it a bit daunting of a task....I did finish my first one, a vest I designed myself, which is nice but doesn't fit quite right....note to self, they make patterns for a reason....I am working on a shrug now for my next project, i think it will be less time consuming with quicker results.
